An international student competition through the LE: NOTRE Institute, this project was part of the LA372 Community Planning and Design studio.  The focus of the competition was to enhance the green infrastructure within the city of Zagreb, Croatia, through a strategically planned network of urban and peri-urban open spaces.  Our focus was on integrating neglected industrial areas in a democratic design that would provide recreational opportunities and offer ecological, economic, and social benefits as well as elevate the quality of life of its citizens.  

 

As a group project, my main contribution was research, creating a riverfront section, and the creation of green corridor modules.
